Problem:

A busy Structured Markets desk wanted to move away from just emailing their clients pdf documents and have their own portal they could publish trade ideas, sales notes, trade models and other content to.  Esparter proposed a simple drag and drop upload to populate the portal which quickly back-filled the available content.

Solution:

A classic digital transformation project, moving from generic pdf generation and email distribution to facilitating a modern multi-media portal with full user security and permissions. User content preferences were quickly understood which allowed for the decommissioning of general mailshots which were largely being treated as junk mail.

Trading desks didn’t have to change their document production processes to benefit from a whole host of advantages for the Digital Desk platform. User activity was easily translated into providing a more focused service to clients. None of which is possible from email distributions of pdfs.
